Who I Am

My name is Emily Chambers and I am a sophomore here at Lock Haven University. I am majoring in Elementary Education, but am in the process of changing it to Early Childhood Education. I am on the women's soccer team and really love it because my team mates are great and I have grown so much by being a part of the team.

I was born in California, but moved to Pennsylvania when I was about two years old. I have two older sisters that I am very close with. From an early age, I have loved little kids. I think they are so fun and are always curious and want to learn. I plan on becoming a kindergarten teacher once I graduate. I think that kindergarten and first grade are very crucial years in a child's education and I want to be a part of that.

I like to think that I am pretty good with doing basic tasks on the computer. I would like to learn more though so I can use different things in my classroom that will help my kids learn in various ways. By taking this class, I hope to be able to do more with the computer and different programs so I can integrate that into my classroom when I teach.
